1. Service Description

JobReady ZA provides the SnapCV platform — an AI-powered service that analyses your CV against a specific job description, generates a compatibility fit score, and produces a tailored CV and Career Fit Report designed to improve your chances of securing an interview.

Our services include:

• Free CV Fit Analysis: A complimentary analysis of how well your CV matches a job description, including a fit score, identified skill gaps, and recommendations. No payment required.
• SnapCV Solo (paid): One AI-tailored CV and one Career Fit Report, delivered via WhatsApp as PDF and DOCX files.
• SnapCV Bundle (paid): Five AI-tailored CVs and five Career Fit Reports for five separate job applications, delivered via WhatsApp.

Services are delivered electronically and are intended for personal, non-commercial use in connection with genuine employment applications in South Africa.

2. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older, or be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under South African law
• Have a valid South African mobile number capable of receiving WhatsApp messages
• Use the service for lawful purposes only
• Not use the service on behalf of a third party without their explicit consent

By using SnapCV, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account & Identity Verification

SnapCV does not require you to create a formal account. Access to paid features is granted after identity verification via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your WhatsApp number.

You are responsible for ensuring that the WhatsApp number you provide is correct and active. JobReady ZA is not liable for non-delivery of services resulting from an incorrect or inactive number provided by you.

You may not use another person's WhatsApp number without their express permission. Doing so may constitute a violation of South African law.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Payment method

Payment is made via PayShap — a real-time bank-to-bank payment system operated by BankservAfrica and supported by major South African banks. You initiate a payment directly from your bank's app or internet banking portal.

No credit card or debit card information is entered on our website. We do not handle, store, or process card data.

4.2 Payment confirmation

After payment, you must confirm your payment within the application by providing your payment reference number. JobReady ZA does not automatically receive PayShap payment notifications. Your service will be processed after confirmation.

4.3 VAT

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required by law.

4.4 Promotional codes

Promotional discount codes are subject to individual terms communicated at the time of issue. Codes are single-use, non-transferable, and have no cash value. Expired or deactivated codes will not be honoured.

5. Delivery of Services

Paid products (tailored CV and Career Fit Report) are delivered electronically to your WhatsApp number within approximately 60 seconds of confirming your payment, subject to:

• Successful receipt of your OTP verification
• Successful AI processing of your CV and job description
• WhatsApp service availability
• Internet connectivity on your device

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., AI processing errors, WhatsApp delivery failure, service maintenance), delivery may be delayed. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve delivery failures within 24 hours.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

6.1 Exceptions — when we will issue a refund

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

• Your documents were never delivered to your WhatsApp despite successful payment and you have contacted us within 48 hours of payment
• A technical error on our side resulted in delivery of a clearly unusable or blank document
• You were charged more than once for the same order

6.2 Bundle credits

Unused SnapCV Bundle credits (e.g., you purchased 5 and only used 2) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We do not offer cash refunds for unused bundle credits.

6.3 How to request a refund

Contact us via WhatsApp (+27 81 232 4354) or email (support@jobreadyza.co.za) within 48 hours of the issue occurring, with your payment reference number and a description of the problem. We will investigate and respond within 3 business days.

7. AI Disclaimer & Accuracy

SnapCV uses AI language models to generate tailored CV content and analysis. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate or error-free. Generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or suggestions that are not appropriate for your specific situation.
• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer. Do not submit a tailored CV without first reading and verifying its contents.
• SnapCV does not guarantee employment outcomes. A tailored CV improves your chances but does not guarantee an interview or job offer.
• The fit score is indicative only. It is generated algorithmically and does not constitute professional career advice.
• Do not include false information in your CV or job applications. JobReady ZA is not responsible for any consequences arising from fraudulent representations to employers.

For important career decisions, we recommend consulting a qualified career counsellor or HR professional in addition to using SnapCV.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use JobReady ZA or SnapCV to:

• Generate CVs containing false, misleading, or fabricated qualifications, work history, or certifications
• Submit fraudulent job applications to employers
• Impersonate another person
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose under South African law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI prompts, workflows, or proprietary methodology
• Circumvent payment requirements through technical means or fraud
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute outputs generated by SnapCV without our written consent
• Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Conduct automated bulk requests that overload our infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on jobreadyza.co.za, including but not limited to the website design, branding, logo, software, AI prompts, scoring methodology, and report templates, is the intellectual property of JobReady ZA and is protected by South African copyright law and international intellectual property conventions.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform, methodology, or content without prior written consent.

10. Your Content & Licence

You retain full ownership of your CV content and any other materials you submit to SnapCV.

By submitting your CV text and job description, you grant JobReady ZA a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and transmit this content solely for the purpose of delivering the SnapCV service to you. This licence ends when your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You warrant that you have the right to submit the content you provide and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Anonymised and aggregated data derived from CV analyses may be used to improve our AI models and service quality, without identifying you personally.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

• JobReady ZA provides its service on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• JobReady ZA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities, loss of income, or damage to professional reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of SnapCV.
• Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable South African consumer protection law, including rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobReady ZA, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of SnapCV
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any content you submit that is false, misleading, or infringes on third-party rights

13. Termination

JobReady ZA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we have reason to believe you are using the service fraudulently or unlawfully.

You may stop using the service at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, any unused bundle credits are forfeited without refund, except where required by law.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of SnapCV shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court or High Court of South Africa, depending on the value of the claim.

Nothing in this clause prevents you from exercising your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, including lodging a complaint with the National Consumer Commission (www.thencc.org.za) or the relevant consumer protection authority.

If you purchased via an electronic transaction, the provisions of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) apply.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

If you disagree with changes to these terms, your remedy is to stop using the service and request deletion of your data.
