We collect only what we need to tailor your CV. We don't sell your data, we don't require your real name or ID, and you can request deletion at any time. Your CV text and WhatsApp number are stored securely in South Africa and processed by AI solely to improve your job application.
JobReady ZA ("JobReady ZA", "we", "us", "our") operates the website jobreadyza.co.za and the SnapCV service — an AI-powered CV tailoring platform designed for South African job seekers.
We are subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of the Republic of South Africa.

By using SnapCV, you consent to your CV text and job description being transmitted to the Anthropic API for the sole purpose of generating your tailored CV and analysis. We recommend removing sensitive personal identifiers from your CV before submission, and we remind you of this in the application interface.
Anthropic is located in the United States. This constitutes a cross-border transfer of personal information under POPIA. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure this transfer is legally compliant and that your data is adequately protected.
We use WhatsApp (operated by WhatsApp LLC, a Meta company) to:
Your WhatsApp number is transmitted to WhAPI (our WhatsApp Business API provider) for message delivery. WhAPI processes messages on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not use your WhatsApp number to send unsolicited promotional messages.

JobReady ZA accepts payment via PayShap — a South African real-time bank-to-bank payment system. Payments are made directly from your bank to ours. We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card, debit card, or banking credentials.
We record the fact that a payment was made, the amount, and your reference number for order fulfilment and dispute resolution purposes. We retain payment records for a minimum of 5 years as required by South African financial regulations.
